  • Is there Wi-Fi available?

    Yes, our building has wi-fi available.

  • Are there toilets?

    We have male, female and disabled toilets within the building. Shower facilities are also available.

    • Bookings

  • How do I pay?

    Payment is made at the time of booking through our online booking service using Stripe secure payment gateway. We can also accommodate payment via BACS. Any additional fees such as lighting hire, paper backdrop costs or overtime will be invoiced separately.

  • What days are available for booking?

    Our studio is available Monday – Sunday, 9am-9pm. For availability, please check the booking calendar for your desired date or get in touch.

  • What is the minimum booking period?

    The minimum booking period is 4 hours. Bookings may be accommodated for shorter periods, please contact us to discuss.

  • Can I start at a different time?

    The studio can be booked from 8am for an additional charge of £30. We may be able to accommodate starting at a different time if our booking calendar allows, please get in touch to discuss.

  • Can I change/cancel my booking?

    You are eligible for a full refund if you cancel up to 7 days before your booking date. If you change or cancel 2-6 days before your booking you will receive a 50% refund. No refunds are available for cancellations with less than 48 hours notice.

  • My shoot might run over, can I stay longer?

    If the calendar allows, overtime is charged at the hourly rate, plus 50% and must be paid on the day of the booking.

  • Where is the studio located?

    Ding Studios is located at the Meantime Studios complex in the heart of Greenwich, South East London on a quiet street which borders the picturesque Greenwich Park. We are 5 mins walk from Maze Hill national rail which is only 15 mins from London Bridge and 5 mins walk from the Cutty Sark DLR. We are also only a short drive/bus journey from North Greenwich Jubilee Line tube station.

  • Is there parking available?

    The studio doesn’t have dedicated parking, however we are able to offer visitor parking permits for the surrounding streets at £2.50 for 4 hours or £6.00 all day. Loading into the studio is available through the back of the building, please let us know by email if you require use of parking permits or the loading area.

    • Equipment

  • Do you provide paper backdrops/coloramas?

    We hold stock of paper backdrops in a few colours which are charged at £10 per metre used. If you require a specific colour or would like a whole roll ordered, these are available at £67 per backdrop.

  • Is lighting included?

    A 3 x 250w Neewer flash kit with wireless trigger is provided inclusive of the studio hire. We also have 2 x Profoto B1 heads with a range of compatible modifiers available for hire for an additional £30.00 per booking. Please get in touch if you would like to book Profoto lighting for your shoot.
